Hayk Harutyunyan will no longer officiate

According to the information of Slaq.am, the Head of the Penitentiary Department Hayk Harutyunyan will no longer officiate.

According to our sources, the reason is that the Justice Minister of Armenia Hovhannes Manukyan isn’t satisfied with the work he does.

After assuming the Justice Minister’s post Hovhannes Manukyan has deeply explored the situation in penitentiaries and has expressed his dissatisfaction concerning the existing gaps.

In fact, the minister is dissatisfied with Hayk Harutyunyan's work and the latter decided to resign. With such a step Hovhannes Manukyan proves that he is a strong minister and he has strengthened his position in the sphere.

According to our sources, Hovhannes Manukyan has set a task to carry out radical changes in penitentiaries.
